Hiya! I’m Cathy In Omaha. Welcome to my site which is a one-stop-shop for all my various pursuits.

First and foremost, I’m the mom to a set of sweet, whip-smart and hilarious boy/girl twins who are each other’s best friends and the lights of my life. We live in Omaha, Nebraska with my husband Dan in a 1990’s version of a Colonial Style home in the Millard area.

You’ll frequently find me slowly renovating our home, employing all the DIY tricks I can teach myself from around the interwebs. I’m obsessed with the power of paint and simple power tools.

I’m currently in the midst of a career transition and am studying to obtain my Real Estate License. I deeply love Omaha and all it has to offer and am excited to share what’s unique and amazing in your own backyard. More on that coming soon!

If you are a theatre-goer, you may have caught me in any number of shows across Omaha stages. Most recently I portrayed the ridiculous schemer Lily St. Regis in “Annie”, the love-lost Rachel Crabbe disguised as her gangster twin brother Roscoe in “One Man, Two Guvnors”, and the mega-star with a voice like a hacksaw Lina Lamont in “Singin’ in the Rain” all at the Omaha Playhouse.

I’m also the gal behind the popular small-form musical theatre group, The Candy Project. We’re currently gearing up for our largest venture to-date; a revival of our wildly successful two-man production of “Gutenberg! The Musical!”. All I can say is that it’s so freaking funny, you need it in your life. We’ll be co-hosting a full run of the show in 2021 at the Omaha Playhouse as a special event.

Of course, who could forget Kiki? He’s the Boston Terrier puppy we adopted in February 2020. 3 parts completely adorable angel and 1 part total jerk, he keeps us on our toes and giggling all day and night. You can also follow Kiki’s own adventures on Facebook and Instagram (@Kiki.In.Omaha) where he highlights dog-friendly spaces and places in Omaha.

Thanks for checking out my site. Much more coming soon! I'm excited to share it with you.
